Description

Sorig compress Ching Lum

Tibetan medicine has a long and rich tradition of healing baths and compresses.

There are three types of healing baths:
  water bath
  steam capsule
  wet compresses

Generally, special and complex conditions are required for the use of bathtubs and steam capsules, and Men Tsee Khan’s therapy centers are well equipped to provide these therapies.
However, people may not have easy access or enough time to receive such treatment. That’s why Men Tsee Khang has developed the Ching Lum herbal compress, which can be used easily and effectively at home.

The composition of Ching Lum compress contains strong and effective herbs. The plant mixture has the moist and lubricating properties of the water element and the hot, warming properties of the fire element.

According to Tibetan medicine, the Ching Lum compress is suitable for rLung e. for problems caused by wind disturbances such as:

stiffness of joints, tendons, and nerves

swelling and pain in the knees and other joints

  muscle stiffness and deformity

lower back pain and curvature of the spine

various skin diseases, chronic and acute edema, and wounds

  post-stroke paralysis and stiffness

How to use:

Open the package and take out the herbal bag

Pour about 40 ml of water on the plate

Soak both sides of the bag in water briefly. The bag should be wet to retain heat, but excessive wetting will cause the medicine to seep into the water, making the results less effective.

Place the wet bag in the steamer, cover tightly, and steam for 5-10 minutes.

If a steamer is not available, take a cooking pot and a metal sieve. Place the sieve in the pot and pour enough water to keep the bottom of the sieve dry. Place the bag of herbs on a sieve and cover with a lid. Steam for 5-10 minutes

Take out the heated bag and wrap it in a thin, small towel

Place the packed bag in the affected area, cover it with another towel to keep it warm, and with a piece of film to keep the steam slipping out. If necessary, cover with an additional towel to keep the film in place

Take the bag away when it is no longer hot. It is not recommended to put or leave in a cool bag in a painful place

Duration of therapy:

Ching Lum Compress should be used daily for about 2 to 3 weeks

For the first 3 to 4 days, heat the herbal bag moderately and place it in a sore spot once a day.

limbs, finger, and toe joints 10 – 15 minutes.

shoulders, back, and lower back 20 -30 minutes

For the next 5 to 13 days, place the already well-warmed bag in a sore spot twice a day and hold for a little longer.

During each use, the bag should be warmed well and used 2-3 times in one session. It is important to feel that the herbal bag is warm enough.

For the last 3 to 4 days, repeat the same process as in the first phase and discontinue therapy.

Remove the bag when it has cooled but is still slightly warm. Dry the skin and apply an oil massage to the affected area. Massage with oil is very effective and especially useful for the elderly and people with rLung (stress) symptoms. Sorig Arthritis Oil and Sorig Massage Oil are well suited for massage.
It is important to keep the sore area warm.
The herbal bag should be dried at the end of therapy, stored in a refrigerator, and then used again
