Description

Mudra

Mudra ( / muˈdrɑː / ( listen); Sanskrit: मुद्रा, IAST: mudrā, “seal”, “sign” or “gesture”; In Tibetan: ཕྱག་རྒྱ་, THL: chakgya ,) is a symbolic or ritual gesture or posture in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. Although some mudras cover the whole body, most are carried out with hands and fingers.

Practice
