Cold and Flu tea Trulthang

According to Tibetan medicine, the Cold and Flu Tea Trulthang helps alleviate symptoms of colds and early-stage flu, including fever, chills, onset of cough, nasal congestion, and related discomforts.

Similar to folk medicine practices that recommend consuming warm raspberry tea, strong beverages, sauna sessions, and sweating profusely during a cold, the herbs in the Trulthang tea blend expedite the maturation of the illness and ease its progression.

Indian gooseberry (Emblica officinalis), Two-Flowered Raspberry (Rubus biflorus), Himalayan Scape Flower (Pegaeophyton scapiflorum), Myrobalan (Terminalia chebula Retz)

Steep the tea for 2-3 minutes. You may leave the tea bag in the cup while drinking. Drink 1-2 times a day. For a stronger effect, use two tea bags, open them, and mix the contents with 1.5 teacups of water. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Drink 3 times a day, every four hours, and keep warm.
