Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
Dr. Nida Chenagtsang was born in Amdo, Tibet. Interested in the traditional medicine of his people, Dr. Nida began his early medical training at a local Tibetan traditional medicine hospital. He later received a scholarship to Lhasa Tibetan Medical University and completed his medical training in 1996. Dr. Nida received his practical training at Lhasa (Lhasa Mentsi Khang) and Lhoka Hospitals of Traditional Tibetan Medicine.
Dr. Nida is the director of the International Academy of Tibetan Traditional Medicine (IATTM) and co-founder of the International Ngak-Mang Institutes (NMI), which was established to preserve and preserve Rebkong Ngakpa culture in contemporary Tibetan society.
